With Brad Childers imposing no deadline on Brett Favre regarding his future the question is whether he should come back for one more try. He remains under contract with the Vikings and despite the beating he took against the Saints he wont need surgery this off season, and unlike his season with the Jets he is in a team who want him around. Another season will undoubtedly reinforce his claim for a hall of fame place.

The main question will be does he have the hunger for it – he certainly doesnt need the money and a future place in the Hall of Fame looks assured.

I hope he does give it a go as the Vikings are good enough to go a long way again next season and it would be a shame oif his last play as a professional player was an interception which cost the Vikings a place in the Superbowl.
